The bug

Firefox displays a non-transparent topbar when displaying pictures fullscreen. This cuts off the view of the top of the image:

This issue does not appear in neither edge nor chrome:
msedge

It is transparent for me. You probably have an extension which modify the aspect

You are 100% correct. It is the "Dark Reader" extension that was causing the issue. Turning it off fixes the issue. Thank you for your quick response. I cannot recall however this being an issue before and I have the extension for quite some time already, so maybe something has changed that breaks compatibility with extensions like these, but I regard this issue as closed.
