[BUG] password authentication failed for user "postgres" #1980

The bug

I just setup Immich without changing anything but the upload location to /mnt/photos because I am on Proxmox and want my files to live on my HDDs and not on my boot drive (which is an SSD) but no matter what installation method I try (docker-compose, install script, portainer) I always get this error [Nest] 7 - 01/13/2024, 2:07:35 PM ERROR [ExceptionHandler] password authentication failed for user "postgres" error: password authentication failed for user "postgres" at Parser.parseErrorMessage (/usr/src/app/node_modules/pg-protocol/dist/parser.js:287:98) at Parser.handlePacket (/usr/src/app/node_modules/pg-protocol/dist/parser.js:126:29) at Parser.parse (/usr/src/app/node_modules/pg-protocol/dist/parser.js:39:38) at Socket.<anonymous> (/usr/src/app/node_modules/pg-protocol/dist/index.js:11:42) at Socket.emit (node:events:514:28) at addChunk (node:internal/streams/readable:545:12) at readableAddChunkPushByteMode (node:internal/streams/readable:495:3) at Readable.push (node:internal/streams/readable:375:5) at TCP.onStreamRead (node:internal/stream_base_commons:190:23)
