This feels more like an issue with the BitWarden extension rather than VaultWarden but the README said to report all issues here so I am.

What does the web-vault do? Did you verified the extension synced the data? What if you logout and back in again?
The thing is, Vaultwarden send the correct data as far as i know. If the extension doesn't act upon it, that's not something we can fix I'm afraid.

It asks for a prompt as expected. Re-syncing or re-logging has no effect. I figured that the issue was with BitWarden and not VaultWarden, but the README says to report here so I'm covering my bases. I'll close this and open one upstream.
