Would be awesome to have a „new update available“ note in the footer as an admin near the current version number.

Pitch

It would be awesome to get a hint that there’s an update inside the application to not have to not have to look at the GitHub or Docker site every other day.

This already exsists if the version your running does not match the latest release on github, it shows a "Update Pocket ID" link in the side navaigation bar under the application configuration option. Are you not seeing the bahavior working?

Ok thx, didn't understood this as indicator for an update. Would be nice to have it somehow more directly visualised that Pocket ID is not in the latest version.
