What would you like?

I'd like to be able to...
I would like a new option to clone a board or project, creating a duplicate of its structure without any of the contents (like cards, tasks, or attachments).

The cloned copy should include:

The board/project name (appended with "Copy" or a number).
All columns/lists.
All label definitions (names and colors).
The board's general settings (e.g., background, permissions).

It should not include:

Any cards or tasks.
Attachments, comments, or activity history.

This "Clone" action could be placed in the "Board Actions" menu or within the "General" tab of the board settings, next to the existing "Delete Board" option for clear and easy access.

Why is this needed?

I want this because...
This feature would dramatically speed up the process of setting up new projects or boards that follow a similar, repetitive structure. Many teams use standardized workflows (e.g., "To Do," "In Progress," "Review," "Done") and a consistent set of labels for different types of work.

Currently, creating each new board requires manually adding every column and label from scratch, which is a tedious and time-consuming task. The ability to clone a board's skeleton would eliminate this repetitive work, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency across projects.

Other information

UI Location: The "Clone" button could be placed in the "Board Actions" menu (as shown in the first screenshot) and/or within the "General" tab in the board settings, next to the "Delete Board" button (as shown in the second screenshot).

Naming: Upon cloning, the new board/project should have a default name like "[Original Name] - Copy" that the user can immediately edit.
Scope: It would be beneficial to have this feature for both individual boards and entire projects (cloning a project would clone all of its boards' skeletons).

Starting with planka today due to more and more issues with Trello this is for me the only big thing I miss in Planka and it would be great to have it. I build websites and for each I make a board with a lot of standard tasks so I have a template board in Trello which I then copy to a new project. But I really would like the cards and tasks to be included in the clone too.
