I really like how easy it is to install Jellyfin using Flatpak, and I think Planka could be packaged as a Flatpak as well. I've experimented a bit, and managed to add Postgres as a module, but I'd need some time for the rest as I'm very new to Flatpak / web services. If anyone has more experience and can take a stab at this, it would be much appreciated, otherwise I will try to get something working.

Hello,
We do not offer flatpack support and do not accept PR's to support flatpack

Here's why:

  • It is a distribution platform exclusively for desktop applications
  • Flatpak is known for its security issues
  • Bugs are usually not fixed and downplayed
