Deck has bad editor, cannot work together with Tasks.
And hundreds of issues!

If you implement a list view you have the view like the Tasks App - displays - Deck Cards!

If you open more lines or use the same input as for your cards in your Tasks.

like this:

You have nearly subtask feature.

What do you think?

When to expect an answer?

First of all I don't think subtasks will be implemented in the near future. Most of all because when working with cards you already have a layer above your tasks. So instead of subtasks you should always prefer different cards with a tasklist in each.
In other words - we have something far better than subtasks - we have columns, cards and tasklists, which IMHO is far superior to the old task/subtask story.

Another user here, I disagree. I came looking for this request rather than submitting one myself. I have ADD and am evaluating tools for helping me deal with it and came across Planka. KanBan helps but I have some specific needs, and subtasks is one of them. Single-depth task lists don't fit all scenarios, so subtasking / checkbox indenting should always have infinite levels of indent. I personally like it when they auto-check-off the parent if all children are done as well.

For instance - My girlfriend has me go run some errands, one of which is Groceries, but I can't get the pizza she likes at Grocery Store #1. I don't want to have to create and manage two cards for the one errand of Groceries, one of which only has one item on it, but I do want to divide them into Store #1 and Store #2, while seeing the whole list. Maybe Store #1 has that pizza now and I can quickly look while I'm there? This is just one example but there are countless others. It would be helpful.

People (or me) being able to email me and submit "tickets" that land in an inbox I can then sort, particularly ones that support Marktdown and would autoformat into a checklist for me, would also be huge. If that's not already a feature that would be awesome.

Lastly, sometimes I need multiple views on things, so I am looking for a (compact) List View of all the cards, something like an email inbox or Jira ticket queue, which I don't see currently. I'd also like the ability to make the "opened" task take up more of the screen, as right now it only utilizes a small portion of it. My 2 cents and figured I would comment here rather than create another issue.
