Description of the bug
Once every week or so, artwork for shows will randomly disappear. Shows that used to have cover art and thumbnails, will suddenly not have them any more. It doesn't happen to all shows at once, usually it starts with one show and then a few days later more shows will suddenly not have artwork any more.
Scanning for missing metadata immediately bring the artwork back, until a week later when another show will have its artwork disappeared again. It's never the same show, always random across my libraries. Sometimes it starts with 1 TV show, another time my whole movie library will suddenly have no artwork. If I don't regularly rescan my library, eventually all artwork will be gone.
I can see errors in the log indicating that images can't be found. But those same images were found fine the day before.
The metadata cache is on the same disk as my media, and there's nothing running on the system that would touch these files outside of Jellyfin.
For example, yesterday this show had all its images, and today they are suddenly gone.
Reproduction steps
I have no idea. A full refresh of my library will populate all artwork, and then a few days or weeks later it will be gone. A refresh always brings it back, rinse and repeat.
What is the current bug behavior?
Artwork disappears.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Artwork does not disappear.
