Description of the bug

Installed JF 10.11.2 via ppa on Linux Mint 22.2 XFCE from scratch.
Media is on an attached NAS and properly mounted.
Movies are properly named (Plex recognizes 9982 from 9989).
Folder structure: media/movies/english
A few hundred of those movies are in additional sub-folders named by Actor, Genre or Theme e.g. media/movies/english/James Bond media/movies/english/Imax Docus etc.

The movies in these sub-folders are scrapped, they show up in the media library when I sort by Community Rating Ascending but none of them are properly identified nor has any metadata downloaded.

Did not find anything in the logs but when I tried to explicitly add these sub-folders to the library got this:

[2025-11-11 09:19:46.818 +07:00] [INF] Validating media library
[2025-11-11 09:19:47.740 +07:00] [INF] Found duplicate path: "/mnt/Media/Movies/English/The Bible Collection (1993-2002)"
[2025-11-11 09:19:47.740 +07:00] [INF] Found duplicate path: "/mnt/Media/Movies/English/Charlie Chan"
[2025-11-11 09:19:47.740 +07:00] [INF] Found duplicate path: "/mnt/Media/Movies/English/Planet of the Apes"
[2025-11-11 09:19:47.740 +07:00] [INF] Found duplicate path: "/mnt/Media/Movies/English/Sherlock Holmes (1939-1946)"
[2025-11-11 09:19:47.740 +07:00] [INF] Found duplicate path: "/mnt/Media/Movies/English/IMAX Documentaries"

I can identify them manually and metadata will be added correctly but with a few hundred of them that is tedious.

I never had issues with Movies in subfolders. I'm using 10.11.2 and it works as before. Only movies with a non standard folder and/or file name sometimes can't be identified (like year before movie name etc.).

This works for me without any major problems. Each movie has its own subfolder and most folders and movies follows the recommended naming format.
