Description of the bug

When trying to play /cast a local trailer to chromecast with the jellyfin app, nothing happens.

Reproduction steps

  1. Open the Jellyfin app and sign in as admin
  2. on the cast icon at the top of the screen - Google Cast - Chromecast
  3. Select Movies
  4. Select a movie : movie info is displayed with icons such as play, trailer,favorites, ...
  5. click on the button

What is the current bug behavior?

Nothing happens when I click on the button

What is the expected correct behavior?

The trailer should be played/casted to chromecast

  • if I do not cast to chromecast, the trailer plays correctly within the android Jellyfin app
  • the trailers are stored locally together with the movie
  • this is a duplicate of an existing bug where the bug was not created conform the template requirements (https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/1395)
