I am not able to scan my home videos and photos library. The storage of the photos is in the same location as my other media.
When I added my series and movies the scanning worked fine. This only happens with this type of media.
Here is an error example;

Your
/data/Picture/216236_117.jpgseems to have something special about it (maybe broken metadata?) but it's hard to say without having an example. Is this image always throwing? Do you have multiple images throwing?@TropperCZ commented on GitHub (Jul 1, 2019):
There are multiple images with error. It is possible that metadata is broken but i dont know.

I have the same... I guess:
I saw this with exactly the same error on getting image size. Unclear if data was corrupt or not as all other images from the same camera had no problems (no indication though for uncorrupted metadata).
I didnt yet find out, where all issues are coming from, but this
[2020-06-06 07:51:49.115 +00:00] [ERR] [11] TaskManager: Error Constraint: SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException: NOT NULL constraint failed: ItemValues.TypeI saw several times.
Will try to enable debug to figure out why the scan stopped. I would reopen the bug, but I cannot. Probably creating a new one?
@bigcookie commented on GitHub (Jun 6, 2020):
Seems to be related to pictures/photos. The error I see often is on getting image size.
@bigcookie commented on GitHub (Jun 7, 2020):
I checked the photos. Interestingly the metadata (exif) etc is the same as other photos which passed the scan. I couldnt see any problem in reading the data. In this case I used Apple Preview app to read the Exif data or general data.
