yes

What type of issue is this?

Documentation

A clear and concise description of the issue.

On the previous website tteck.github.io/Proxmox

There is a link "New home for the project: https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE"

But it should link to https://helper-scripts.com/ or https://community-scripts.github.io/ProxmoxVE/ , probably the former

So that people go directly to the right place, instead of starting to search for the install script in the github repo

Which browser are you using?

Firefox

If relevant, including screenshots or a code block can be helpful in clarifying the issue.

No response

Please provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue.

Also I believe
helper-scripts.com
should bring you directly to
https://community-scripts.github.io/ProxmoxVE/scripts

Because there is a tutorial page in between, maybe auto forward there if a cookie is taken, so it only shows the tutorial once.

Maybe someone here knows someone that knows how to do that

I realize I almost landed there but got derailed on that path a few times.

That was tteck's last act. After that, he archived the repo. Unfortunately, we don't have access to it, so we can't change it.

I could only try to contact the Github support to see if they can do a redirect, but I doubt that will work.

I think this would in any case require the consent of his survivors.
Here the person to contact is call the "executor".

Seems a bit over the top to bother them over this. Just figure it out once, bookmark it (https://community-scripts.github.io/ProxmoxVE/scripts), and remove old references from your browser and done.

Pro tip: Use the Github links in the right panel so you don't need to scroll down and dig through the readme

I mean, that's just a speed bump for everyone that ends up on the old website.
But I guess over time everyone will link to helper-scripts.com without the 4+ clicks and no longer get lost.
Of course I know it now, it's not a problem for me.

One thing though is, going to helper-scripts.com

This screen should not show every single time, only the first time.

I agree with your last point, could you make that into a separate issue?
