Sorry for you—we will remove memos. The maintainer doesn't really see the point—or rather, doesn't support it. If this ever changes again, we can reinstate the script. As there was no willingness to cooperate, we are removing it immediately.

I would appreciate it if the update script first checked whether the install/update script is still available on the helper script page before starting the update. This way, the user is informed if it has been removed, and the update process does not start and then fizzle out, potentially leaving behind a broken installation.

Tbf, it is not removed yet. The PR is in draft to disable it, wich will not prevent a user from running update in the console, as it is not removed from github then.
