✅ Have you read and understood the above guidelines?
yes
🔎 Did you run the script with verbose mode enabled?
Yes, verbose mode was enabled and the output is included below
📜 What is the name of the script you are using?
Homarr
📂 What was the exact command used to execute the script?
bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE/main/ct/homarr.sh)"
⚙️ What settings are you using?
🖥️ Which Linux distribution are you using?
Debian 13
📈 Which Proxmox version are you on?
9.1.4
📝 Provide a clear and concise description of the issue.
The installation was performed using the default values. No errors were detected. After installation, it was noticed that the CPU load of the LXC is permanently above 30/40%. The utilization appears to be very high. A command at the shell level cannot be executed (e.g., systemctl status homarr). Connected to the PVE via SSH, it is also not possible to access the LXC via “pct enter”. It does not respond.
It is not possible to open Homar within a browser. After a while i got the error: 504 Gateway Time-out nginx/1.26.3
A new installation with (for testing purposes) 6 CPU cores and 4GB RAM works perfectly and I can open Homarr without any problems for the first time.
Logs below ist verbose Mode. IP adresses censored.
🔄 Steps to reproduce the issue.
Installation with Default and open Homar in browser
❌ Paste the full error output (if available).
🖼️ Additional context (optional).
Error within Webbrowser: 504 Gateway Time-out nginx/1.26.3
Homarr with more Ressources is running fine
@kharas80 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):

@MickLesk commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):
@CrazyWolf13 my homarr (dont really configured) run smooth with 700MB and 1 Core, i dont know.
But nobody stop you @kharas80 from increase your ressources. By the way it runs since 4 Weeks without any shutdown on a shitty n97 processor
Whats your hardware?
@CrazyWolf13 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):
Hmm no idea honestly, can you post homarr logs and redis logs?
@kharas80 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):
I reinstalled it. Commands cannot be executed. It freezes. Only when I set the RAM to 2GB can I execute the commands and open Homarr in the browser.
Hardware is a little bit oversized:
ASRock B550 Pro4 AMD B550
AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT 6x 3.60GHz
128GB RAM
I changed RAM between 18:19 and 18:21:
@CrazyWolf13 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):
There is nothing obviously going wrong here.
I just checked and my container is indeed using 1.7GB RAM ( though I also have a lot of boards and many integrations), maybe 1G was a bit too optimistic or homarr now uses a bit more ram.
They also have this open: https://github.com/homarr-labs/homarr/issues/3759
So I think ideally we bump to 2gb and leave the rest to the homarr team, as our script is working fine.
@MickLesk commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):
The Main question, what for Hardware?
@CrazyWolf13 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):
@MickLesk
https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE/issues/11097#issuecomment-3791398810
For me it's a lenovo m900 tiny with 2400mhz ram, 32GB and an i7-6700T I think.
@kharas80 commented on GitHub (Jan 23, 2026):
Wrote it already:

Strange that my shitty n97 ddr4 handle it better 🤔
