Have you read and understood the above guidelines?

yes

🔎 Did you run the script with verbose mode enabled?

Yes, verbose mode was enabled and the output is included below

📜 What is the name of the script you are using?

Omada Controller

📂 What was the exact command used to execute the script?

update

⚙️ What settings are you using?

  • Default Settings
  • Advanced Settings

🖥️ Which Linux distribution are you using?

Debian 12

📈 Which Proxmox version are you on?

9.1.1

📝 Provide a clear and concise description of the issue.

Running the update script crashes even on a new installation, the first time I ran the script it was stuck on:
" Upgrade MongoDB from v8.0 to 8.0"

That's with verbose mode on. Then after an hour that it was hanged I rebooted the node and ran it again with verbose on and the output seems to be an error on properly updating and/or recognizing that MongoDB is already updated.

🔄 Steps to reproduce the issue.

Step 1 - Fresh Install
Setp 2 - run the "update" command via terminal

Paste the full error output (if available).

Isnt that flowing through from the script itself tho?

I went into the terminal and did a:

rm -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongo*

and then ran:

grep -r "mongodb" /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

and that outputs nothing, then I ran the update script again, which fails with the same errors, then if I do a subsequent grep, here's the output:

root@omada:~# grep -r "mongodb" /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongodb-org-8.0.sources:URIs: https://repo.mongodb.org/apt/debian
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongodb-org-8.0.sources:Suites: bookworm/mongodb-org/8.0
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongodb-org-8.0.sources:Signed-By: /etc/apt/keyrings/mongodb-server-8.0.gpg
