Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

It would be great if you could expand on this a little (I'm not too familiar with oEmbed).
Are you looking for BookStack to be a consumer or provider?
What would be the ideal user-flow you'd expect?

I mean you could do both, but I was thinking of a consumer, so that when you paste in a Flickr, YouTube, or other sites URL it would display a preview.

Raising my support for this, link preview and video preview would be a killer feature that is sadly still missing.
I wonder how this has not gained more attention!
Or am I possibly missing other requests for similar things?
