Describe the Scenario

Hello.
I am a Korean user.
I'm trying to configure Oidc authentication using Kakao Oidc, a Korean platform
Basically, Kakao does not provide for "oidc", "email", and "name", which are the oidc scopes required by bookstack.

Kakao provided only profile_nickname, account_email to set the scope in /app/www/app/Access/Oidc/OidcOAuthProvider.php, but the error is displayed in the last step.

Basically, Kakao does not provide for "oidc", "email", and "name", which are the oidc scopes required by bookstack.

If Kakao does not support things that are part of the OIDC standard, then we would not support use with Kakao via OIDC.
Therefore any advice I can provide will be limited since I'm not familiar with Kakao, and I'm hesitant to advise making changes we do not support.

The invalid_client error you are seeing is often due to invalid client ID, or client secret values. It can often occur when the redirect URI (commonly configured on the authentication system, Kakao in this case) does not match that which BookStack is providing (eg. https://your-instance-url.com/oidc/callback). I can't be sure of this though since changes have been made, and I don't test against Kakao.

If you have development skills (specifically using PHP), you may be able to use the logical theme system to create a custom socialite/oauth service for Kakao, which would act as a secondary auth option for BookStack.

It could do, but I don't understand how Kakao works so I can't be sure.
You could also double check that the id/secret values. If they contain a # character, you will need to quote them. eg:

OIDC_CLIENT_SECRET="def456#340554"
