Describe the feature you'd like

Allow per-chapter sort actions, like there already exists for the whole book when sorting.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing BookStack users

This would allow the sorting of a specific chapter if that chapter follows a different/specific structure that would benefit from an alternate sorting option that differs to the book as a whole.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

  • You could manually sort the chapter, which takes time.
  • You could promote the chapter to its own book for easier sorting.
  • You could use the logical theme system and maybe tags (or some other identifier) to do some kind of custom auto-sort.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

How long have you been using BookStack?

Under 3 months

+1 for this. I frequently need to sort the pages in a chapter as I create new ones, but I don't want to touch the rest of the book.

Isn't it what the meaning with drag an drop pages under Sorting Book function is, or am I experiencing an issue?

+1 I have a book with an not alphabetical sorted order but I need one chapter to be sorted alphabetical wich works if I sort the whole book and after that sort the single pages/chapters manual.
