Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

As shown in v23.06, parse/compile issues within the logical theme system can cause confusion, and can arise when core changes have taken place without the theme system being updated.
We should capture these events, and log sensibly.
Not sure if we should stop execution or continue (ignoring theme system logic in the process).
