Ctrl+Z after hyperlinking text shows link rather than original text #3673

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Describe the Bug
If I highlight some text and then paste via Ctrl+V with a link in my clipboard then the text becomes hyperlinked. If I undo with Ctrl+Z then I see just the link (that was in the clipboard) and an additional undo with Ctrl+Z gives me the original text.
Steps to Reproduce
original text
highlight
paste with Ctrl+V
undo with Ctrl+Z
undo with Ctrl+Z
Expected Behaviour
undo should just remove the hyperlink
