Describe the feature you'd like

Is it possible to add a standalone comment moderation module in the settings page, currently I can only see who added a comment in the audit log in the settings.

However, I can't directly see the corresponding comment content in the settings, I can only see a comment record, and I need to click to enter the corresponding page to see the details of the comment.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing BookStack users

For some sites that need to interact with users frequently, when there are many books and pages, the current comment management function is very bad.

I hope that there is an independent module where all comments can be seen, so that administrators can delete or stick certain comments to the top.

It's actually because I'm worried about malicious users leaving spam comments, but I don't know directly that it would be nice to have a separate page for managing comments.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

It seems that there is no such function yet.

But also as a developer, I think this function is not very complicated or difficult to implement, just extract all comments and their related information (page, release time, publisher, etc.) and put them in the settings.

Of course, I also clearly know that this will take some time and a lot of work, but I still look forward to it being launched in a future version.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundemental request

How long have you been using BookStack?

0 to 6 months
