I noticed that my Webp images became PNG images after uploading.
Please support Webp format image upload.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing BookStack users

Can save a lot of bandwidth and hard disk, help people save costs.
Users are also able to save bandwidth and see pages faster.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

  • Use an external image service.
  • Upload images directly to the website directory.

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundemental request
