Describe the bug
When I try to do any action on any page, chapter, book or shelf, Bookstack throws an "unknown error".

Steps To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any page/chapter/book/shelf
  2. Try to edit, or delete it, or add a new one
  3. It will throw the generic "Unknown error"

Expected behavior
Add, delete or edit page, book, chapter or shelf normally.

  • BookStack v0.28.2
  • Nginx

Additional context
I had to restore the sql backup twice to get rid of the error. It happened on the weekend on both cases, not sure what is going on tbh but I'm pretty sure it will happen again...

Updating Bookstack to the newest version solved the issue, since it dropped the table that was causing the problem.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
