Since you can already set the application homepage to a specific page, it would be convenient if you could also set it to a specific shelf or book. For example, I use shelves to separate internal info from external info. Being able to set the homepage to a specific shelf would very useful.

Further, having a separate application homepage setting for each user role would make this even more useful. You could set the homepage to the most relevant shelf/area for that particular user group.
