The bug

  1. I reconfigured authentification and users.
  2. Searched for a way to Integrate the External Library from old user to new user.
  3. Deleted External Library on old user, 6 local pictures where left, couple thousands missing.
  4. Finally found a way to move the existing library since this method is not documented in the FAQ anymore: https://web.archive.org/web/20231228060416/https://immich.app/docs/FAQ/#how-can-i-move-all-data-photos-persons-albums-from-one-user-to-another.
  5. Followed the steps as described.
  6. What exactly happend with the missing pictures and how do I get them into the new profile?
