The bug

I am trying to upload multiple videos in Android. Here the steps I'm doing:

  • Go to the photos app (google default app for photos and videos)
  • Select multiple videos (the problem start when it is more than 1)
  • Press the option Share
  • Select Immich Upload option
  • Immich app open in black screen and nothing happen. I have to closed the app and it has become unresponsive

Here the details of my test:

  • Android version 16
  • Android Device Pixel 6 Pro
  • Immich app version 2.2.3 build 3026
  • Immich server 2.2.0

Upload of a single video works fine

Log entry in the app after hanging the app:

Hashing took - 0ms

The OS that Immich Server is running on

MacOs Sequoai version 15.7.1

Version of Immich Server

v.2.2.0

Version of Immich Mobile App

v.2.2.3 build 3026

Platform with the issue

  • Server

Device make and model

Google Pixel Pro 6

Reproduction steps
