The bug

My wife has downloaded a wide variety of images, some from Facebook, some from random web sites. Often, these come with dozens of tags applied. When I import these images as an External Library, I get all the tags imported, as well, but really don't want them.

In an attempt to clean this up, I've deleted all the tags from an image. I discovered that upon deleting of the last tag, all the tags suddenly reappear on the image.

Reproduction steps

Find an image with several tags on it (don't know if there's a minimum number required to trigger the issue)
Delete all the tags
Upon deleting the last tag, they all reappear.
Exit the image
Click into the image again - they're still there, it's not a caching issue.

Often, these come with dozens of tags applied. When I import these images as an External Library, I get all the tags imported, as well, but really don't want them. In an attempt to clean this up, I've deleted all the tags from an image. I discovered that upon deleting of the last tag, _all_ the tags suddenly reappear on the image. Sorry, @pprathameshmore - I ended up just manually deleting all the tags. I had hundreds of random tags from images my wife had downloaded, and I needed to get them cleaned up.

Same issue here. If I delete all the tags from any photo, they all come back when the last one is deleted.

Yes, looks like "no tags" is assumed as "no tag overrides" and then falls back on the tags in the image EXIF data.
