The bug

Hi,

I recently set up an Immich server with everything default (but a different upload location) on my computer and uploaded a large collection of photos and videos. Everything was working perfectly until today — suddenly, no media is showing up in either the web app or the Android app. It looks as if the app was just freshly installed.

As far as I can tell, all the media files are still present in the upload folder (I checked several images manually), and all the folder structures remain intact. The web app also reports that 59 GiB of 915 GiB is used on the HDD, which makes sense since that drive is dedicated solely to Immich.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Restarted the container
Deleted the image and pulled a fresh one
Verified that the upload folder is accessible from within the container
Despite this, nothing has changed — the media is still not showing up, and I haven’t modified any configuration since it was working.

I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions on what might be going wrong.
