The bug

I'm using the web app to access my immich server. In my album, I hold down shift and select one image. With shift held down, I select another image in a higher row(back to front selection, essentially). Sometimes, instead of selecting the images between the two selections back-to-front, immich will select all the images after the first selection and all the images before the second selection. I hope this makes sense

Intended selection:
o o o o o o
o x x x x x
x x x x o o
o o o o o o

Actual selection:
x x x x x x
x x o o o o
o o o x x x
x x x x x x

@drulia commented on GitHub (Oct 31, 2025):

I noticed that for me that happens when there is stacked image in selection. If I select one by one or avoid stacked images, it's all fine, but selecting range with stacked image creates this wrap-around.
