I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

When trying to delete an item from the locked folder it is gone the moment you press delete, without any confirmation.
If these items already don't end up in trash, there MUST BE a confirmation before it's gone to prevent accidents.

Hope I am not too late but it is possible to restore without having to restore from backup. The locked item is in the trash but you just can't see it. If you click "restore all" the item will come back. For my situation I didn't have many other photos in there so I just permanently deleted all of them then clicked "restore all". I gave me a notification of 1 asset restored. BAM the photo was back! Hope this helps!
