The bug

Hi,

Just updated from v1.48.1 to v1.51.1 on both server and mobile, I noticed on the mobile app that the Android navigation bar buttons and background became completely white.
Switching from white to dark theme doesn't changed anything.

I think it's the system navigation bar overlay style trying to be set to Colors.transparent. Android 8 is pretty old and maybe doesn't support that. I wonder if it panics and turns the navigation bar white instead of letting it be transparent.

I'd have to investigate what versions of Android support transparent system navigation bars. The fix would be to suppress this enhancement if the Android version is too old. I don't have an 8.0 device kicking around, but maybe I can spin up an emulator and check it out.
