The bug

Hello, I've just set-up an immich server, uploaded photos from the iPhone, and do not see any thumbnails.
There's an "Error loading image" on all photos in the timeline.
When I open admin settings, there's 0 thumbnail generation jobs, and if I click regenerate for all, it just quickly disappears. No errors in logs.
It does not matter where you upload from, if I upload image via browser, it is the same

Only if I manually go into the image, click "Refresh thumbnails", it appears after page reload for this image.

If I manually select all photos, and click "Refresh thumbnails", they are generated, but all newly uploaded photos are still not having preview, so I have to repeat the process manually.

Can you set the log level to verbose and then post the generated logs (after running jobs etc)?

I see you've got everything in a big shared network. Are there any other redis containers in that network? If so that'll be the issue.

Thanks for hint, I will try to run it in an isolated network and check..

Fixed with changing default redis hostname, it was duplicate in the network.

I have the same issue and noticed that I have docmost (which has redis too) on the same network (it all goes through a caddy-proxy container, so docmost and immich are on the same external network called caddy).
How did you fix the conflict with immich exactly? By changing the hostname do you mean the service name on the docker compose?

In .env file add:

REDIS_HOSTNAME=imredis

In docker compose rename the service:

imredis: <- THIS
  container_name: immich_redis
...
