I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

repro steps:

  1. create image stacks
  2. add to album
  3. open album
  4. open image

result: stacked image not visible
expected result: stack images should be visible (iOS client works as expected)

this is not an issue with creating stacks, which i verified by opening a stacked image from timeline
