App background sync does not add album to uploaded photos right away #7451

I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

I noticed that when my images get uploaded with the background sync/backup, they don't have their album (source folder) assigned from the enabled auto-assign option (in my case e.g. "Camera" or "Whatsapp").
When I open the app and the foreground sync runs, these images get the missing album assigned.

This may be related #22590
