I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

Hi
Since I have switched to beta timeline my newly created albums are not synced anymore. If I go to the album tab I only see albums that have been created before the switch to beta timeline. I tried to sync via sync status page and also started all server side jobs but nothing changed.
To be clear, it’s not since a certain version like that. I was hoping that’s an early issue and would be fixed once the beta timeline is well discovered. But apparently it’s not getting fixed. So thought to share it here.
Also to switch beta timeline off and on again does not help. However the old timeline does work perfectly fine.

May I share here some logs? What would you need to investigate?

Greetings
Foule

I have the same issue. It seems as if the albums are created multiple times now. When I switched off the beta timeline, my "Camera" album was created twice, one with all my old photos and the one, the beta timeline used. But while being in the beta timeline, the old albums were not pulled and displayed in the app, even though they are visible on the browser.

I just got a hint to logout from app and login again. That seems to fix the issue for me but maybe that can be improved for those who don't occasionally logout and in again.

yeah it seems like the migration steps from the old local database to the new local database had a hiccup there 🤔
