Is this with the beta timeline? If so, the next release should most likely fix this. I'll keep this open until you can test the next version and will close this after

Took some back and forth, disabling and re-enabling upload, but this is fixed for me now with 1.142. Thanks!

Thank you for asking! Unfortunately, the update is not yet available for TrueNAS Scale. I will test it as soon as it's available. I'll let you know if anything doesn't work. If you don't hear from me, everything is working properly ✌️

This is broken for me as well, I'm running 1.142 on Unraid. My template is: {{album}}/{{y}}.{{MM}}.{{dd}} - {{h}}{{m}}{{s}}{{SSS}}, but all pictures and screenshots just get put in my username folder, not in the album folder they should be. In other words, the storage template preview says they should be here:

UPLOAD_LOCATION/library/Broderick/Album Name/2022.02.03 - 4565250.jpg

But instead, it's applying this:

UPLOAD_LOCATION/library/Broderick/2022.02.03 - 4565250.jpg

I have the same problem with v1.143.1. I use Debian 12 and docker compose.
