[beta] Image zoom jumps when loading completed if zoomed into before loading completes. #6923

The bug

I’m using the beta timeline and have «load original image» enabled.

If I open the asset viewer of a remote asset and double tap to zoom in, the zoom will jump to 100% of the original image when the original image finishes loading. Ideally, the zoom should not jump when the original image finishes loading if it is already zoomed into. This is easier to recreate on a slow connection where the original image is slow to load.

  2. Before the image is fully loaded, double tap to zoom into the low resolution asset
  3. When the original image finishes loading, the zoom jumps in again.
