The bug

I added location information to the uploaded photo on the web platform, and it showed the desired location on the web. However, when I downloaded the photo, I couldn't find the location information.

No, this feature has been like this for at least half a year. During this period, I have switched to many different systems and redeployed Immich multiple times, and it has always been like this.

Hi, what I meant is, we don’t support applying the metadata to the original image and we don’t really plan to do this in the future. We may allow the XMP sidecar download.
