The bug

This is a issue that always plagued me since my first contact with Immich last year, mostly due to the sheer amount of photos and videos that I have on my user, so what happens is: I open the app, scroll for a few seconds or go into any menu, and then the app suddenly freezes and the only way for it to work is closing and opening it again.
The two other users doesn't have any issue at all, the app just works great.

My phone isn't a low end device either, its Oneplus 7 Pro with Snapdragon 855 (at launch was top of the line SOC) on Android 12.

Just "Recent", but now that you mentioned, I added all other albums and enabled "album sync", in the meantime, the app would freeze for a solid minute, then work for 5s and freeze again.

It freezes for me when going to albums. There are few albums, but they are big.

I assume so. I've been using immich and the app for months, and only in the last few days it's been an issue.
The app freezes too fast to check the albums in the app.
I can see my albums on the web

Force stop and clearing cache didn't fix, but reinstall did

The same occurs on my iOS app. but I've noticed the app freezes when the Backup starts, and because of the freeze I cannot stop or disable the backup tasks.
