The bug

I cannot download motion photos from albums shared by public link using browser. This happens when the user is not signed in (e.g. in private window or a user without an account).

The OS that Immich Server is running on

Reproduction steps

  1. Take motion photo (tested on Samsung S23 and Pixel 7A)
  2. Upload to Immich (tested both external library and using mobile app)
  3. Create an album with the image
  4. Create public link to the album
  5. Open the link in private browsing window
  6. Try to download the uploaded image from the image view screen (not album overview with multiple pictures). It will not work.

Relevant log output

When I click the download button on an image which is also a motion photo, I see the browser accessing `https://my.server/api/assets/VIDEO_ASSET_ID?key=REDACTED?KEY` which returns a JSON instead of `https://my.server/api/assets/IMAGE_ASSET_ID/original?key=REDACTED_KEY` which should return the image file.

The browser console also gives me `Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: (intermediate value)(...) is undefined` error.
