The bug

If you start a slideshow somewhere and exit it using the Escape key, the next time you view an image, slideshow mode is automatically entered and the slideshow starts playing.

Exiting the slideshow using the x in the top left exits slideshow mode, which is what I would have expected Escape to do.

This is still occurring. I've been consistently getting this exact issue on v1.105.1

I can't reproduce using the original steps. What are you seeing?

@Snowknight26 it's been very hit or miss. i'm not exactly sure how to reproduce it yet, but when i'm going through tagging faces, i can make it cause this issue. using the back button doesn't change the url, so even a page refresh doesn't fix it... i basically need close the tab and hit the TLD, then go back to people, find the person and tag, again.

i checked container logs, but didn't see anything specific to that browser session or any errors. if there is any specific info i can provide (debugging, urls, workflow maybe?), please point me to whatever can help test this and i'll try to come up with a reproducible process.

I think this is strictly client-side behavior, so you really wouldn't see any errors/logs and would only be unexpected behavior.

Best I can suggest is to create a new issue if you manage to find a way to reproduce the issue you're experiencing.
