'Search by date' filter not showing images chronologically? #2409

The bug

I have the feeling that if I filter pictures to be in a time interval, the pics are not necessarily sorted by date.
Let's look at it as a pre-bug submission, as I haven't analyzed it thoroughly enough given the size of my library.

But anyways, I would expect from a time filter to provide a sorting option, either ascending or descending.
