are different users and profiles
Not tested, but I assume that all versions of this would give different users and profiles.

This creates similar confusion when trying to log in . The log in screen similarly differentiates between the two versions.

I would expect them all to be formatted down to lower case in user creation and logon screen to prevent duplicates.
