The bug

New photo made by Android is uploaded by not visible in Web. Visible only in mobile App.

  1. On Android, make a photo
  2. Immich mobile App immediately uploads asset and shows "cloud uploaded" icon on the photo
  3. immich_microservices container creates thumbnails JPEG and WEBP (I see generated files and logs)
  4. But there is no any new photos in Web :(
  5. (optionally) To see the new photos on the Web the only way is "Admin panel" -> "Generate ALL Thumbnails".

I suspect this is a timezone issue. Can you check again to see if those photos eventually show up after one or two hours?

Yes, I've checked now (after 12 hours), and all new photos are visible now. :)

Should I wait for https://github.com/immich-app/immich/issues/5578 fix? Or is there some solution to tune my system myself?

There is an open PR with a fix that I'm hoping will make it into the next release.
