The bug

i moved my immich instance from windows to linux. i made a backup of the postgres database as it says in the documentation then i restored that backup on my linux machine and i moved the entire library folder to my linux machine.
now all the files are marked as UNTRACKS FILES and i cant repair them

/usr/src/app/upload/library/admin/2024/2024-01-07/VID-20240107-WA0002.mp4
/usr/src/app/upload/library/admin/2024/2024-01-07/PXL_20240106_233951202.MP.jpg
/usr/src/app/upload/library/admin/2024/2024-01-07/IMG-20240107-WA0005.jpg

here some of the example files in the repair page.

how do i fix it, do i need to move the folder again restore the backup again or what?

thanks i advance

oke i found the answer. you really need to enter the docker container using a other wsl machine or own command prompt will not work. don't know why but it is like that. just enter the postgres container in your docker than do the backup command and than save the file.

to enter the container go to docker desktop than click the three dots and select enter terminal.
execute the command here.
then go to the file tab.
click on the file and select save.

now you have back-upt your database
