The bug

When I try to open the application in IOS, after entering the Server Endpoint URL, it doesn't let me continue and I get the message: "server is not reachable". On another Android phone it works perfectly.

The OS that Immich Server is running on

Truenas SCALE app dockerized

Version of Immich Server

v1.7.1

Version of Immich Mobile App

v1.7.1

Platform with the issue

  • Server
  • Web
  • Mobile

Your docker-compose.yml content

Not available

Your .env content

not available

Reproduction steps

1.Open the App
2.Fill the Server Endpoint URL
3.Click on Next button
4."Server not reachable" message appears

Additional information

On the same network with an Android device it works perfectly.
From the iPhone I am able to open the web page of the application using the browser.

What was the url that you used? Can you please post it here?

Also, did you allow the local network permission when the app promted?

Hi Alex,

I am actually using a local IP.
I checked the privacy settings on the iPhone and it did not allow the App
to access the local network.
Thanks for your time and sorry for such a trivial question.
I am not an iPhone user and was not aware of these privacy restrictions.

Thanks @jobakx , that was my issue as well and you solved it for me. Your 'trivial' question (and answer) has helped me and perhaps others.

@masteroid007 can you post the actual url you use to access the instance?
